Modern manufacturing systems often use hi-tech lubricating emulsions which are susceptible to bacterial degradation. Process water can introduce contamination into manufacturing processes.
Biocides can be used to control such problems, but these are expensive , so it makes good economic sense to monitor the situation and avoid wastage.

Surface sampling - Tillutact
|
||
A surface may look clean,whilst still harbouring thousands of viable bacteria.
Regular cleaning is essential in all areas where foodstuffs are processed or handled.
It is also important to check that the cleaning process is effective.
Tillutact slides are the ideal method of monitoring surface hygiene, being especially designed for ease of use.
They determine both Total viable counts and Coliform counts.
Some slides are formulated to contain neutralisers for common germicides which might otherwise cause misleading results if picked up on the slides.
Tillutact slides are also an excellent visual aid in training programmes.

sampling are both available in a comprehensive range of
formulations for the detection of common groups of Bacteria
Yeasts and Moulds .

special orders to customers own specifications.
Dimanco diagnostic slides are made in a sterile environment .
Rigid quality control ensures a uniform agar fill, giving a flat even surface for a reliable result. All slides are individually inspected before being released for sale.
